Illuminated 3D Lettering

Illuminated perspex 3D lettering for a corporate façade in Slough — face-lit acrylic with crisp LED uniformity and a low-glare opal diffusion.

Illuminated 3D Lettering

Brief

A long-frontage corporate building in Slough’s commercial belt needed a façade identifier that read clearly from the approach road in all weather, all hours. The brief favoured face-lit lettering over halo for legibility from the highway at speed.

Approach

We specified face-lit built-up letters in acrylic with opal diffusion on the faces and aluminium returns powder-coated to match the building’s anodised cladding. Internal LEDs were laid in a custom grid to eliminate hot-spots. Letters mount on stainless-steel pin standoffs for a 25 mm gap from the cladding.

Result

Even illumination across the wordmark, no visible hardware from the public side, and a sign that’s as crisp at midnight as it is at midday.
